The Sundgren Combine sling-and-catch transport region — the theatre of B1. A corridor-scale kinetic-logistics system: an electromagnetic mass-driver launcher ("the sling") and an electromagnetic / momentum-exchange catcher station ("the mitt" / "the catcher"). A golden-age advancement enabled by ~two decades of Nhál-assisted power/materials. Named for the survey vessel ISV Rivas, whose crew plotted the first stable sling route through the system during the early expansion (no on-page explanation needed). Terminology discipline: Rivas Corridor = the full transport region; Rivas line (informal) = the cargo trajectory itself; Tornel = station control.

Wound state
Residual junction drift survives every human-fault correction at B1 close (the Wound seed, B1 §8). Not enough to have caused the accident; enough to prove the accident exposed rather than created it.
Canon has not fixed this place in space, so the archive does not invent a coordinate for it. It appears in the gazetteer as unplaced rather than on the star map as a guess.
