Leader of the catch-riders — salvage crews of the Rivas Corridor turned predatory after the golden age automated their work and revoked their salvage rights. Highly competent, charismatic and funny enough to hold a scene, genuinely aggrieved about the frontier's abandonment, and responsible for theft, violence, and the taking of the empty tug. Not a misunderstood saint and not a cartoon: a violent predator who is also one of the system's unpriced consequences. Legal name Rowan, shortened to Roan by the catch-riders (lived-in, not chosen-to-sound-rugged). Ex-licensed recovery contractor.
