• B3: convoy survey sloop; at the first lane-crossing rides up too close in the grain-hauler Brask's drive-wash — the funnel near-miss Ruth Ackerman defuses (Ch4); survives two cold-lane folds across the cruise. At the Causeway, destroyed by Sundog (Quint) — a close-range kinetic holes her amidships and cuts her spine; despite Cross's attempt to talk Halloran through a keel-roll to the seam, she comes apart across the certified braid. The seam war's first casualty; crew of nine lost (Ch27). The Causeway changes hands as her scatter cools.
