He climbs. Four terraces up a face he has no business on, seen by three people who all tell his mother before he gets home, famous for a week, roughly twice a year. THAT IS MIRETH'S safety system and it is social, not procedural: the cut talks. Nobody says so.
How they speak
Talks to the crew because nobody else will, and asks about food, weight and money, in that order. He is not charming, wise, or a window into anything. He is eleven.
