What her era can carry. None to nominal. Survey and navigation hulls; the era builds licensing machinery, not weapons.

A ship of this era carries tools, not armament. Danger is environmental and procedural.

⚠ A ceiling, not a fit — what a hull of this class could carry in this era, derived from the capability ladder rather than stated for this ship. She may well carry less; she is never shown carrying more. Source: Era tier T2 (bible/46; series-8-drift).

Naming

Named for ISNA institutional ancestor (presumed). Specific historical figure not documented.

Naming-convention overlap note. ISNA convention names vessels for first-traversal subjects. The "Karl-Johan" forename appears in canon as Karl-Johan Eriksson (b. 2070 Bergen, first FN of Erika, d. 2138) but the vessel-name connection is not established. The "Pedersen" surname appears in SNG's Karl Vidar Pedersen (named for a separate Norwegian signal-physics ancestor — Karl Vidar Pedersen, b. 1968, d. 2041).

Compiled from the canon file for this hull. Only sections that are settled canon are shown — drafting notes and anything belonging to an unpublished book are held back.
