What her era can carry. None to nominal. Survey and navigation hulls; the era builds licensing machinery, not weapons.

A ship of this era carries tools, not armament. Danger is environmental and procedural.

⚠ A ceiling, not a fit — what a hull of this class could carry in this era, derived from the capability ladder rather than stated for this ship. She may well carry less; she is never shown carrying more. Source: Era tier T2 (bible/46; series-8-drift).

Naming

Named for Astrid Solberg — Maren Solberg's mother (b. 1968 Bergen, d. 14 October 2009 cardiac arrest, found by 6-year-old Maren); also Freya Solberg's daughter (Maren's granddaughter, b. 14 May 2056 Oslo, named for Maren's mother).

Per ISNA convention, institutional vessels are named for first-traversal subjects — Astrid Solberg is NOT a first-traversal subject, but the Solberg surname (Maren's family, T.S1) is on Names Reserved. The vessel-naming connection presumably honours the broader Solberg institutional heritage (Maren is the foundational signal-measurement figure; Astrid's name carries that family weight; the canonical record extending through Freya's daughter Astrid born 2056 produces the era of vessel-naming).

Compiled from the canon file for this hull. Only sections that are settled canon are shown — drafting notes and anything belonging to an unpublished book are held back.
