Geneva's standing authority over the deep-frontier services, and the body that keeps the seals on the document chain. It created the rank of Captain in 2192 and it runs the compartment that holds the Brief — the same organisation doing both, which is rather the point. The Geneva-prefixed form is the formal name; crews say the short one.

About the institutions
