Book 1: Rescue corpsman / field medicine aboard ISV Palisade (, W05). - Book 2: survivor at the Dunstan / Keller's Field farm. - After Book 2: Initially says she is done with ships. Later returns in a rescue organisation - not because trauma made her fearless but after learning boundaries.
Off the page
Farm work (Book 2): Animal handling, roof and irrigation repair, heavy labour. Discovers ordinary bodily fatigue is different from adrenaline exhaustion.
