Was aboard the Tallow when it went long (~7–11 subjective months against ~9 station-hours); her pregnancy began before departure, and she gave birth in transit. Carries the infant in a sling. At the pay-off muster she signs one-handed and takes a lease: third ring, lease forty-one, remaining — Efe checks the ring for damp before letting her sign it. She names the child Cray, after the Tallow's Master who died inside, spelled as he spelled it. At the registry Sesk enters two dates a column apart (the ship's day-count for the birth, the station's berth date for the arrival), neither marked for correction; Lote reads the line twice and says the child will want to see it someday.
