Builder: Bergen Repair and Build Yards (BRBY), commercial division (same yard as the Pedersen). Home berth (current): Dakar SNG West African Commercial Terminal, Berth 4-N. (The home-berth shifted from Tromsø to Dakar in 2150 when Diop became FN and SNG reorganised the West African commercial route around her vessel.)

Naming
Named for Dr. Anders Hjelmstad — Norwegian signal physicist, ex-Svalbard Array postdoc, listed as lead investigator on the foundational signal-acquisition work cited in early ISA institutional documents. One of the working signal-physics ancestors honoured in SNG vessel-naming convention.
(Note: Hjelmstad the historical figure is also the namesake of "Hjelmstad" the coastal shipping company referenced obliquely in OR-B1 prose; the surname carries institutional weight in the Norwegian harbour register.)
