Thirty-four. Operated on by Kim at eleven on the morning of 18 March 2349. Six hours post-operative when terminal black begins, with drains, doing exactly what she should be doing. Asks about her sister, who works at the Foundry; the Foundry has not answered anybody since seven and Kim tells her so. Bleeds on the third flight of stairs from a vessel Kim had been least happy with, and dies on a ground-floor table with her abdomen open, four units of her group behind and not catching up. Two units of that group had gone to the shelf-road femur at five o'clock. MED-D02. Kim closes her anyway, because her sister might come and look for her.
