About
One of the three sailing on the MV Almoner for treatment, with Ibbot and Sena. Second on Ilyas's ramp list. In the transit berth he takes the seat by the forward bulkhead on the argument that he has been on a hull before, and Sena lets him have it.
How they speak
Competitive, boastful in the ordinary way of a boy his age, and entirely unembarrassed. Measures himself against the cousin and loses cheerfully: "My cousin does it to the top without stopping and he's a year younger than me and he's an idiot." Takes vindication with "enormous satisfaction".
