On the header-tank platform at the west end of block nine at ten past two on 22 March, taking the last of the standing water out, because it was her tank. Six people were in block nine: three up on the tank platform, two on the floor moving drums, and Rhee in the door with the load list. The west gable frame went and took eighteen metres of the north glazing run down inward across the beds in one movement. The two on the floor were out inside a minute, one of them – Vale — with the frame taken across his chest. A third came off the platform onto a bed with a broken forearm. Ferrar and Salgado were at the far end of the platform behind the tank.
