NV Dawnward — General Arrangement

A survey ship, drawn honestly as a survey ship. The Dawnward carries a laboratory, a contact habitat, and the bays that seed a dark reach with nodes until it can be authenticated — and she carries two light mounts, because a civilian charter at the mouth of somebody else's sky is worth more than a gun. Every officer who has ever had to fight her has observed that the design is correct and that being correct is not the same as being survivable.
