At Junction 44-F the ISV Resolute holds station beside a thing the Architects left behind — and the crew, for the first time, watches a thing that watches back. We made contact, and I am not certain the word survives the thing it describes. The construct returned our primes, extended our integers, and built a recursive grammar with us — all of it by reshaping the geometry of the space between us, never once emitting a signal. The mathematical bootstrap holds to a ceiling. PMK confidence will not pass ~78% on this contact class. Below the ceiling we can read quantity, sequence, symmetry, set. Above it, the construct is plainly saying something structured and deliberate — Event 03-D carried no numeric primitive at all — and the remaining 22% is not noise. It is nuance we are not built to translate. Recommend standoff held, watch maintained, no emission beyond bootstrap primitives. We are not talking to it. We are learning the shape of its silence.

The record reads as three hours of curvature telemetry and a confidence plateau. The crew reads it as the night they stood eleven kilometres from a thing that finished their sentence — and then said one more they could not hear.
