Three audiobooks are 80% off on Google Play this week. All three are hard, institutional science fiction: the science is real, and so are the chains of command, protocols and committees that decide what anyone is allowed to do about it.
Dead Reckoning (Spent Light, book one): a survey ship cut off from home, command handed to a diplomat who has never run a ship, and a long way back by dead reckoning. Until 11 October.
The Signal (The Silence, book one): Norwegian Arctic, 2047. An astronomer finds structure in the noise, then has to work out who to tell and what being right will cost her. Until 11 October.
The Surveyors (The Chosen Dark, book one): a reply that arrived 410 milliseconds before its question, and the ensign sent eight hundred light years to find out why. 5 to 12 October.
In the US that's 99¢ each. The price you see depends on your country (here in Australia it shows as $1.59).
If you'd rather read than listen, The Surveyors ebook is 99¢ on Kindle and free in Kindle Unlimited.

One more thing: the forum now has Continue with Google on the sign-in page. One tap and you're in, no password to remember. If you already have an account under the same email address, it signs you straight into that one.
